What does the Alabama Broadband Connectivity for Students voucher cover?

"The voucher you receive in the mail will cover the cost of equipment, installation, and high-speed internet service through June 30, 2021. You will be able to use your voucher once, with one internet service provider, to sign up for service for the duration of the program. Your family won’t receive any bills and will not be charged any additional fees by your internet service provider. If you choose internet service from T-Mobile through LeanStream you will receive the following:

Internet Service Through June 30, 2021

Through the Alabama ABC for Students Program, your internet service and related equipment is provided at no charge to you. The service will run through December 30, 2020 and there is no requirement for you to continue service beyond that date.

Alcatel Linkzone 2 Hotspot or Franklin T9 Hotspot

The Alcatel Linkzone 2 and Franklin T9 hotspots are the latest model hotspots at T-Mobile. Both hotspots are small, portable and support multiple users at the same time. They are perfect for virtual learning at home or on the go.
