What is a hotspot and how does it work?

A hotspot is a device that is about the size of a deck of cards that sends and receives data.  It has two radios in it – one of them sends data back and forth across the T Mobile 4G/LTE cellular network and the other one sends data back and forth between devices you connect to it like computers, phones, video games, tablets, smart tvs etc.  These two parts work together to get information and data from you to the world and vice versa.  Some of our users just call it the ”internet box” and we kind of like that description.
